Avoid energy price hikes for 12 months with our EXCLUSIVE deal

Rising energy costs have become a normal part of life for many of us, but with more Brits switching to cheaper deals than ever before, do you want to be one of those left paying more than they need to this year?

UK switching fever

Last year almost five million people changed energy supplier in the UK, according to figures from Energy UK[1]. This is the highest number since 2013 and shows that more and more people are realising the best way to beat rising prices is to shop around for the best deal and switch.

Save up to £277 a year by switching to our exclusive deal by July 18th

We have managed to secure an exclusive energy deal* with EDF Energy that could save you £277 a year† on your energy bill, and because it’s fixed for 12 months, you can ensure that you beat the price rises.

Experts think that energy costs are on the up once again, thanks to the planned introduction of an ‘energy price cap’, which is seeing providers scrap their cheapest deals.

Richard Neudegg from uSwitch, told the Financial Times that “from October, we saw quite a lot of movement from the bigger suppliers at the cheaper end of the market “[but the energy price cap] seemed to snuff out some of the positive improvements in the energy market.”[2] At the beginning of May this year, the average cheapest tariff stood at £1,001.26 per annum, which is 20% higher than the cheapest seen from a Big Six in October 2016 (£836.21)[3].

To protect against further hikes, now may be the ideal time to switch to our exclusive, limited time deal.

Here are the key details of the tariff we’ve secured:

  • EDF Energy has offered us a 12 month fixed tariff, costing an average £865 a year, which could save a typical home £277 per annum†
  • EDF Energy has a 5* customer service rating **
  • This is currently the cheapest Big Six deal for an average home paying by direct debit
  • The deal is available to new and existing EDF Energy customers

Remember: This deal will end at midnight on July 18th.

† Saving is for an average usage home, taking gas and electricity, and paying by monthly direct debit switching to the collective winning tariff from EDF Energy. The savings calculation is done versus a typical standard tariff cost for a home that has never switched i.e. they take British Gas Standard for gas and the default electricity supplier’s standard tariff for electricity. Average annual energy usage is currently defined by OFGEM, the energy regulator, as 12,500 kWh of gas and 3,100 kWh of electricity per year. Calculations correct as of 6th February 2017.
